My commitment:
-
Throughout our coaching journey, I will actively support you in envisioning your desired future and setting realistic goals. By consistently aligning our efforts with your long-term vision, I serve as a reliable partner in holding you accountable to the steps needed to achieve your objectives. This forward-focused approach helps maintain momentum and ensures sustained progress over time.
-
What’s that? Are you running for the door? No problem. I like a good challenge and I have yet to meet a conversation that ended with someone literally running for the door. Okay, seriously, part of our coaching relationship involves me candidly challenging any self-limiting beliefs or behaviors that may hinder your growth. I'll provide honest and direct feedback, helping you confront and overcome obstacles. This process encourages self-awareness and promotes positive change by addressing patterns that may be holding you back.
-
I will guide you to focus on your strengths, successes, and positive experiences. By exploring what has worked well for you in the past, we can leverage these insights to foster a mindset of continuous improvement and self-discovery. I will pay careful attention to not only what you say but also what remains unspoken. This approach allows me to understand your emotions, concerns, and aspirations. By fostering a safe and non-judgmental space, we can explore and address the underlying factors influencing your journey.
-
As your accountability partner, I will help you set clear, measurable goals related to enhancing your emotional intelligence. Through regular check-ins and progress assessments, we'll celebrate successes and navigate challenges together. This collaborative accountability fosters a sense of responsibility and empowers you to stay committed to your personal and professional development.
How I became a JourneyBee…
With over two decades of coaching and people leadership experience in both corporate and noncorporate settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. My journey has been marked by consistently maintaining high retention rates, fostering effective team communication, and employing a strengths-based approach to empower individuals within remote and in-office teams.
My passion for coaching truly took root during a pivotal moment in my career. When faced with the decision to relocate with my company (which would have been my 28th move, eep!) or stay in California, I chose the latter. This choice prompted me to reflect on my career trajectory, leading me to the realization that coaching had evolved from a profession to a vocation. However, the transition from corporate leadership to entrepreneurship presented its challenges, and I found myself grappling with excuses, imposter syndrome, overwhelm, and ultimately, a bad case of analysis paralysis.
Enter my own coach—a pivotal figure who guided me through the fog of uncertainty, providing the clarity and insight I needed to pursue my dream of establishing a coaching business. This transformative experience ignited a deep-seated commitment to paying it forward, to helping others gain clarity, navigate obstacles, and take decisive action towards their desired outcomes.
In my current role, I collaborate with individuals, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and teams to assist them in overcoming sticking points and paving the way for a more supportive, productive, and engaged work environment. My coaching philosophy revolves around fostering a strengths-based approach, creating processes for open lines of communication, and empowering individuals to leverage their unique talents for personal and professional growth.
What sets me apart as an Emotional Intelligence (EI) coach is my extensive background in people leadership and a commitment to investing in each person's development. I understand the intricacies of building and leading teams, and I am dedicated to helping my clients cultivate the emotional intelligence needed for success in their respective fields.
Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur, a budding startup, or a team looking to enhance collaboration, I am here to guide you. Let's work together to navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and create a pathway towards a more fulfilling and successful professional journey.
